ROBS PROJECT HOPE
WINTER 2009
Wrap Party
ROBS members help wrap gifts for
PROJECT HOPE.

A letter from Peter Vercillo
Project Hope Chairperson

Dear PROJECT HOPE Supporter:
Due to the collective generosity of ROBS members, PROJECT HOPE successfully continued it's tradition of assisting families that are part of the Brentwood School District. this year was our most successful financially, which we accomplished with 75 contributors. The money raised help spread Thanksgiving and C
hristmas cheer. The retirees of the Brentwood schools have once again shown that their commitment to the community is still significant.
Special mention must also be given to the ROBS volunteers who shopped, donated, stored, wrapped, and distributed the hundreds of items that were amassed. This was a tremendous undertaking that took not only time, but great care as well. Their efforts make these drives go very smoothly.
Thank you very much, and best wishes to all ROBS members for a prosperous 2009.

Sincerely,
Peter Vercillo
ROBS Project Hope Chairperson

GOOD NEWS
POSTED 2/22/09

A letter from Sheila & Letty Sustrin
Hi Marilyn,
Hope all is well. We have some good news to share with our fellow ROBS members. The third book of our "Mrs. Belle" series, "The Teacher Who Would Not Retire Discovers A New Planet" will be released in April. We plan to do a reading/book signing at the April 3rd ROBS meeting. Hope many of our friends will come to the meeting and join us. It'll be a fun time and there will be some drawings for prizes.
We'd love for you to have a drawing at the March reunion in Florida and when the book is out, we will mail a signed copy of the book to the winner. Just let us know who it is!!!
Who ever thought that retirement would be such a busy time of life!
Hope all of you have a great time at your luncheon. Be well and have a wonderful year.
